Position: Administrative Assistant

Description: Located in the administrative office, this position is directly responsible to assist the agency and executive officers. Performing general administrative duties as directed. Assisting the Board of Directors by maintaining files and official minutes for board meetings. This full time position pays between $27,000 and $31,000 depending on experience. PLCCA , INC offers a competitive compensation package. Requirements: Education at the Bachelor’s Degree level preferred, as well as demonstration of written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.


Position: Residential Aide/Monitor (Part-Time)

Description: To provide a healthy and safe residential environment through the completion of daily tasks and routine monitoring of the facility and participants. Requirements: High School Diploma, GED equivalency or related training certificate. Related experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age and have a valid Illinois Drivers License. 


Position: Sales Associate

Description: The Museum of Contemporary Art seeks a part-time Sales Associate to sell merchandise including jewelry, gifts and art books and provide customer service to guests in the MCA Store. Duties include opening and closing the store, operating a cash register and processing returns, assisting with special orders and other customer requests. Requirements: Some college preferred. Retail sales experience required. Must be highly motivated and demonstrate initiative. Knowledge of art and design is a must. Applicant must exhibit scheduling flexibility and be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, including weekends and some after-hours events as needed.

Position: Temporary Office Support

Description: This position will provide general administrative support to the surgeons and other clinicians in the Section of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy and Cardiothoracic Surgery under the direction of the Section Administrator and the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Call Center Manager. This position will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling patients, filing paperwork appropriately, coordinating the care plan for the patient, preparing charts, managing calendars, typing, processing letters and dictation, special projects, and other general administrative support. Requirements: This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible position working up to 40 hours per week. Candidates must demonstrate the following competencies: Manage interpersonal relationships and interact/communicate with clarity, tact, and courtesy; communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing; identify priorities; recognize and resolve or refer problems; demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in grammar and writing required; excellent customer service skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Position: Americorps Contract Coordinator

Description: Under the direction of the Vice president of Programs the AmeriCorps Jobs For Youth Coordinator position is responsible for the recruitment and selection process of eligible JFY clients for program participation in AmeriCorps service projects. Collect and manage necessary client documentation related based on JFY/AmeriCorps standards. Coordinator supervises selected members to ensure AmeriCorps/JFY contract compliance and member outcomes through the use of AmeriCorps and JFY data tracking systems. Routinely meets with leadership of partner host sites to ensure quality service experience for members. Provide the leadership for bi-weekly member meetings to support the coordination of service projects eliminate barriers to member success and facilitate youth development leadership activities. Requirements: Candidate must provide proof of college degree in human services, social work/psychology, education of similar field. Two years experience in working with at-risk and DCFS youth. A working knowledge of AmeriCorps standards and management of federal contract preferred. Experience in managing contracts and the ability to analyze program data.
