Saint Anthony Hospital (Chicago, IL) is a faith-based community hospital dedicated to offering health, healing and hope to the families of our community.

We are currently seeking a Telecommunications Operator to be responsible for operating a telephone attendant system to handle incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls, as well as long-range pagers and overhead paging for the hospital. Performs functions and system administrative tasks on various automated systems. Responds to alarms for and acts as a key member of the team for various emergency/disaster situations daily.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish  preferred
• Basic Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle high volumes of incoming calls
• Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
• Previous experience as operator preferred
• Ability to type 30 wpm preferred
