DAVACO Retail Services is looking for Product Merchandisers. Full Time Crew Leads and Regionally Based Part Time Project Staffing needed. DAVACO Retail Services is recruiting to staff a merchandising reset that will be taking place in Calumet City, IL. The reset starts, Tuesday, 5/31/11, and will run for 8 consecutive days. Merchandisers are needed night hours: 9:00PM - 6:30AM, and day hours: 7:00AM – 5:00PM. Required Experience: Our ideal Regionally Based/Employed Per Project Merchandiser candidates must:
 Have the ability to read and understand Plan-o-gram’s
 Have the ability to read and understand floor maps
 Have a minimum 1 year of merchandising experience in drug store, grocery or hardware resets Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
 Be able to be on their feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time
 Be able to work on a team
 Must have active e-mail address
 Must have basic knowledge of store fixtures
 Have transportation to get to all locations
 Have the ability to do some overnight travel (only required in some markets)
Our ideal full time Crew Leader candidates must:
 Have the same abilities as a merchandiser
 Be able to set up a simple ―ime and Action Plan‖
 Have had experience running crews of six or more people
 Be goal oriented
 Be able to problem solve
 Be technology knowledgeable



 Introduction to Restaurant Customer Service, including Bartending, Fine-Dining Service, Wine, and more, as a first step towards more advanced skills. Front of the House 201: Introduction to Bartending/Fine Dining Server Training: Learn basic skills required to become a bartender. Also learn fundamentals necessary to become a fine dining server from greetings to cocktail and wine service, and appetizer and entrée ordering. To be eligible for FOH 201, you must have either taken FOH 101 or be able to prove that you have some experience in the food service industry. Career Ladders for Women: A Job Readiness Course for single mothers. This class is incorporated with our Front the House 101 and 201 classes. ESOL/ English for Speakers of other Languages-Restaurant Workers: Obtain language skills restaurant workers need in order to communicate effectively and confidently in English so that they can meet their needs. Handles loading, unloading, stowing, pick up delivery of mail, express, baggage, freight and cargo and the operation of automotive and other ramp equipment in the performance of their duties. Maintain the ramp area, building and equipment in a clean, presentable condition.
